CFPB expands oversight of digital payments services including Apple Pay and Cash App
On March 23, 2022, the US Supreme Court sent former President Trump’s election interference lawsuit back to the lower courts for further proceedings. The suit, which was filed after the 2020 election, alleges that Trump and others interfered with the election by disseminating false information and attempting to undermine the election’s legitimacy.
The Supreme Court did not offer a detailed explanation for their decision, but the move signifies that the case will continue to be reviewed and further findings on the matter can still be made. It’s important to note that this does not necessarily mean the Supreme Court is agreeing with the allegation, it is simply allowing the lower court to determine the facts of the case.
