Lindsey Graham demands ICC reveal details of probe into prosecutor Khan’s misconduct allegations

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham has called for the International Criminal Court (ICC) to disclose information regarding investigation into allegations of professional misconduct against its chief prosecutor, Karim Khan. The details of the allegations raised against Khan, before he took his new position at the ICC, have not been made public.

Graham expressed concern over the allegations and emphasized the importance of transparency in the matter to maintain the integrity of the ICC. He said that keeping the investigation activity confidential could undermine the legitimacy of the organization.

The ICC has assured that an independent Oversight Committee is investigating the allegations, but no further information has been unveiled. Despite the ongoing investigation, Khan assumed office as the ICC’s chief prosecutor in June 2021.

Remember that the details around this issue are still emerging, and the specifics involving the allegations against Khan are yet unknown publicly.
