Hunter Biden to plead not guilty to federal gun charges

Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, is to plead not guilty to federal gun charges stemming from an incident in Delaware last year. He was arrested in November after officials discovered a firearm in a car registered to him and allegedly in his possession. Biden is facing federal charges of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of, or addicted to, a controlled substance, and of a crime of violence. He entered his plea in a Wilmington court on Wednesday, and his trial is scheduled for June 2021.
