Democrat Bob Casey concedes Pennsylvania Senate race to Dave McCormick, ending recount
Holiday travelers this season can expect cheaper airline tickets, packed hotels and roads and a sharp increase in the number of baby boomers hitting the roads or taking to the skies. Airlines are offering record-low fares as they compete with low-cost carriers, which have kept prices low by offering no-frills service. Hotels are also booking up at a record pace, so make sure to book ahead. Boomers are expected to travel more then ever this year, with 34% saying they plan to take a holiday trip of at least 50 miles, up from 30% in 2019. With lower prices, travelers can take advantage of more flexibility for flights, more choices for accommodations and more ways to make their travel experiences their own. Just be sure to check ahead for any last minute add-ons or restrictions.
