Hunter Biden pardon raises new questions over 5th Amendment ‘loophole’
U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) roasted former Secretary of State John Kerry for joining the 18th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Senator Paul suggested that Kerry flew off with “so much hot air, he’ll be remembered for much more than the Paris Agreement.” He went on to say that Kerry’s attendance shows a lack of respect for the current U.S. administration, who withdrew from the Paris Agreement, and a lack of understanding of the division of powers between the executive branch and the legislative branch. Paul concluded by sarcastically dispatching a good-natured “Bon Voyage!” to his former colleague.
