DOJ prosecutor accused of limiting questions on Biden during Hunter probe expected to appear for deposition

John Wake, the former deputy assistant attorney general for the US Department of Justice, is reportedly expected to appear for a deposition on Tuesday in response to accusations he limited questions about Joe Biden during an investigation into Hunter Biden, the former vice president’s son. Wake allegedly directed staff working on the audit to not ask questions about the father-son relationship, making it difficult to get to the bottom of the probe. While the Biden campaign has denied any wrongdoing in the case, the probing of the matter could complicate the campaign in the months leading up to the election. It’s unclear if the deposition will be made public, but the results could further shape the legal battle.
