Denmark closes major shipping strait over faulty missile launcher

Denmark closed the international shipping route of The Great Belt Strait recently after a missile launcher malfunctioned in a military exercise. The missile in question did not explode nor pose any immediate danger, but for safety measures and precautions, authorities had to close the strait immediately. The Great Belt Strait, which separates the islands of Zealand and Funen, is one of the busiest water routes globally, affecting a significant portion of international shipping. Authorities are currently working on fixing the issue at the earliest to minimize the potential disruption in international shipping operations. Due to the closure, the maritime traffic is redirected to alternative routes, which might cause a slight delay in shipping schedules.
