Biden says Dems, GOP ‘remain committed’ to bipartisan solutions following McCarthy ouster

Joe Biden said that he and congressional Democrats remain committed to working in a bipartisan fashion with the Republican majority to find solutions to the nation’s problems following the ouster of House leader Kevin McCarthy. He said legislators from both sides of the aisle have a responsibility to “reach across the aisle, find common ground, and work together” in order to advance the interests of the American people. The President noted that some of the most consequential bills have been passed through bipartisanship and urged lawmakers to come together despite their differences for the good of the nation.
