Arbitrum is reportedly seeking approval from the DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) for a fund worth $400 million. This fund is aimed at developing an ecosystem for gaming projects. Arbitrum plans to invest this fund into elevating the gaming industry towards the decentralization path, thus enabling for more transparency and fairness. However, getting this proposal passed isn’t that simple. It requires the consensus of the community members who have voting rights in DAO. It demonstrates the decentralized power structure of DAO where all changes are decided by the community. The proposed fund is expected to be used to finance various aspects of gaming like development, marketing, partnerships, etc., but the detailed allocation of this fund will depend upon DAO’s approval.
